Rest

Please join me next week as I’ve been working on several blog posts for you. But this week I’m taking time off. My mental and physical health has tanked pushing too hard. I’ve spent much of my days cuddled with our six year old granddaughter on the couch and doing math, thinking stories, and phonics, which is her favorite past time.

Our daughter, her mother, just returned from Tulsa, Oklahoma where the Cancer Center of America is and the news was not good. She has been battling cancer which continues to metastasize. We’ve known she can not win the fight but with each blow it takes another piece of hope for more time.

It breaks my heart as I know when her three daughters return from their father’s house, she will have to explain what she has learned with the four of them. We need to absorb this latest news and make plans, so join me next week. I will be back.

I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. I am so grateful for my faith in Christ which sees us through.
